I am so shocked and saddened for your loss! I worked with Kerri. She always took time to talk to the patients and always followed through. She took pride in what she did and it showed. She will be truly missed. I will keep her in my prayers..

Life is just a place we all stay for a while. We gather friends and have our families as we cross our paths with old and new people, we just never know what the next minute or day has to share with us. So take each day like you know what the next has in store for you, smile often and start each day with your own kind of greeting.
Kerri was as I always called one of my 3 Musketeers as she lived life while going to school with all her friends.
We all shall miss seeing that face.

Kathy and Dave: our hearts go out to you. Kerri always came up and hugged us when she seen us and like others we will never forget that smile. We love you and your children and have such good memories of them and Hazel playing together, and coming over to your house and eating (especially Kathy's Lasagna). When I think of Kerri I smile. Remember God is holding Kerri in His loving arms. I pray for peace and comfort for you, we love you.

To Kathy,Dave,Jason and family, deepest sympathy for the loss of Carrie Ann. I remember her struggle for life as a newborn. Well she was a fighter for sure and a beautiful blessing to your family. I didn't get to know her very long but hope she had a wonderful life. Nothing can compare to the life she has now. While heaven gained an angel, I hope God will grant you all peace and comfort at this difficult time. Love and prayers, Sandy

Dear Dave, Kathy, Jason, and extended family -

I am so sad to hear this news that Kerri has passed, too young, and the same age as me. It's difficult for me to wrap my head around, and I imagine moreso for you as well. I thought I would share a couple memories I have of Kerri that make me smile in this time of grief:

-I remember your house being built before you moved in and would just go look at it because as a kid that kind of stuff is cool!
-You finally moved in and I saw Kerri riding her bike. I'm not sure how we started talking but we eventually became friends.
-I remember learning about Sam's Club from Kerri - I'm pretty sure you all used to go shopping there, or maybe you just went once, or maybe it's some imaginary memory I've made up.
-Kerri introduced me to Green Day's Dookie album and we'd listen to it on repeat in her room ALL THE TIME.
-We got lice together I think in 6th grade. That summer sucked!
-Kerri had a sleepover and while I don't remember who else was there, I remember eating almost an entire bag of nacho cheese Doritos that night. I felt like I was on top of the world.
-I was in awe that Kathy and Dave would let me drink their pop. My parents were stingy with their pop!
-I think I remember she had an unhealthy obsession for Justin Timberlake. I was not as impressed.
-When Kerri got her license or was about to, she talked about getting a VW Cabriolet convertible that she was super excited about. I remember when she got the car it was not a VW Cabriolet Convertible. I think it was a Golf?
-Regardless, Kerri was a terrifying new driver! And she made me late to school haha. I stuck with riding with my mom from then on.

Kerri was a kind person. We were such good friends in our younger years and though we grew apart throughout high school and our adult lives, she's still someone I hold so dear in my heart. I'm going to miss driving past her and waving when I leave my parents' house. I love that I'll always have these wonderful memories of the time we did spend together. May she rest in peace and may your family find comfort in this difficult time.

I remember Kerri as being one of the first friends I made at Miami Heights Elementary. She lived around the corner from me and frequently invitied me over. She was a great true friend and I was thankful for that friendship. I lift you and the family in prayer as you go through this pain.

It is a sad time when I read about the passing of one of my students. I remember teaching Kerri in Home Economics class at Three Rivers. She was always a nice student and very respectful in class to me and to others. My prayers and sympathy goes out to the Schreiber family at the passing of Kerri at such a young age.
