Condolence & Memory Journal

My dad, he was one of the best people I could have in my life. He was goofy, when he smiled it made my day, he always made me laugh. My daddy always gave me what I wanted, I was his little princess, his angel. I miss my dad very much, I can't just say one memory about him, all were amazing, i loved when we cuddled, drives to the doctors appointments, all of it was some of the best memories I have. I wish I could make more memories with him, but i'm happy he isn't sick anymore. In about 8 days it'll be two years without one of my best friends I've ever had, he always had a way to make people happy. I miss my daddy so much, but he is my angel now.

Many years ago we became friends, fellow Yellow Jackets & forever bonded as one of the "Taylor Track Men." You were one of the good ones my friend & you'll be missed. Thoughts & prayers to our family.

I met Woody (Don) about 55 years ago. My aunt was in class with Patti and they were friends. Though I was several years younger, Woody always took an interest in teaching me things. We fished at Page's, shot BB guns, played "kick the can" and "cops and robbers", free swim at Taylor....What a great and fun friend to have as a kid! He and Patti were some of the nicest kids in town.
While life moved on, things I learned hanging out with him, as well as the fun memories have always remained. I don't remember a better, more loyal (or funny) a friend than Woody. Godspeed, old friend. May the legacy left temper the grief felt. This guy was the real deal. Jeff (Large) Q.

We remember our cousin, Don, even when he was a baby and young child. He was the cutest and sweetest little one ever. Don loved his sister, Patti, so much and always protected her from an early age. His grandma and grandpa Wood (Hattie and Fred): aunts and uncles, Grandma Ann and Ann's sister doted on both Don and Patti.

Don's love for his children, wife Patty Jo, and grandchildren was so strong and evident. He was a true "fighter" for his life and for others in his life. He left this world way too soon. May he experience God's peace and eternal love.

Don always cracked me up, we had a lot of fun working together, and he always had something funny to say to everyone. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his entire family and friends.
