Austin J. Backscheider, 6, of Cleves, died on Feb. 17, 2012 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

He was in Kindergarten at Miami Heights Elementary School, was a Special Olympics participant & attended the Church on Fire.

He was the beloved son of Frank J. Backscheider & Tammy L. Mullins, the dear brother of Jake Boatright & Nick Backscheider, the loving grandson of Robert & Myrna Mullins, Connie & Danny Whitt, Rocky Backscheider & Jeanie, Maria & Dave Mundy & the great grandson of Frank Backscheider, Norma Jean Imhoff, the late Ed & Peggy Bohl, Patricia Backscheider & Ercell Leigh. He is also survived by aunts, uncles & cousins.

Visitation Wed., Feb. 22, 5-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002. Funeral Thurs., Feb. 23, 11 AM at the Church on Fire, 10541 Harrison Ave., Harrison, OH 45030.

Memorials may be directed to the Austin Backscheider Fund, c/o any Fifth Third Bank.
